Winters Charm

Winters Charm by Renee Hammond

Winter is one of the most productive seasons for me in terms of my writing. When the days are wet and wild outside, I spend my time curled up in front of the wood fire, computer in my lap, and I write.

Books, red wine and bowls of steaming soup stimulate my senses and tempt me all season long. And, if that isn’t reason enough to fall in love with winters charm, the fashion gets me every time. Boots, jackets, scarves, and my personal favourite…hats! I have many, and embarrass my children immensely whenever I wear them out, as I did to the movies last night.

I would like to introduce you to the title of the book I’ll be writing next…Winters Charm. The characters are coming to life in my mind, and want their story told. I can’t wait to get started. I love the beginning stages of a new novel, but this one is extremely impatient, making it difficult to focus on what has to be done first!

Anyways, back to edits for me tonight…what about you? How do you like to spend your winter evenings?

Until next time, stay warm. x
