It has always amazed me how letting go opens the door to possibilities. Opportunities that would have gone unnoticed, had you continued to cling to someone or something else, are presented to you with an unmissable vibrancy.
For too long I held on to the hope of what if, and now that I have let it go a sense of freedom has replaced a void I thought in need of filling.
Whilst the process is easier said than done, the outcome has been worth it. Productivity fills my days and, in a sense, I feel lighter, less burdened. The burden was solely my own, but still I failed to see that by holding so tight onto what I thought I wanted, I lost focus on what was truly important to me in the first place. However, when I loosened my grip and finally let go, I realised that I never really wanted it anyway.
Letting go doesn’t have to mean the end of an era, it may be that your timing is off or there are lessons you still need to learn. Whatever the reason, I am a strong believer that if someone or something is meant to be a part of your life, it’ll happen.
Here’s to enjoying my freedom! I hope you are making the most of yours!
